If used to be that for travel to certain nearby countries, a passport wasn’t actually required. However, in the wake of 9/11, security has tightened up and the laws are changing. The latest festival, the 5 th annual Telluride Festival of the Arts, was held August 15-17. The event featured a free concert by Grammy-winner Taj Mahal and the Taj Mahal Trio, whose bluesy stylings serenaded festival-goers. This was the first year that a free concert was added to the festival in an attempt to boost traffic in Mountain Village.
